What do we need to set up?
An API key from your Cliniko account, which we'll walk you through, and a short call about how your clinic runs. You keep your phone number and forward calls to Voicely for the hours you choose. Most clinics are live within days.
Do I need to change how I use Cliniko?
No. Voicely works with your existing Cliniko setup. Your calendar, practitioners and policies stay exactly as they are.
Will it create duplicate patient records?
No. Voicely matches the caller to their existing Cliniko record first, and only creates a new one when there's a new patient.
What if a family shares one phone number?
When one number belongs to more than one patient in Cliniko, Voicely asks who it's speaking with before it says any names, then carries on with that person's record.
What happens when we add a practitioner or change our services?
You change it in Cliniko, the way you would anyway. Your practitioners and appointment types come from your Cliniko account rather than being typed into Voicely by hand, so there is no double entry. Change something in Cliniko and we resync your agent.
Does Voicely see bookings our front desk makes?
Yes. It asks Cliniko for a practitioner's free times each time it looks for one, so anything your team has booked by then is already taken.
What happens if Cliniko is down?
Voicely only tells a caller something is done once Cliniko confirms it. If Cliniko doesn't respond, it tries again, and it never tells a caller they aren't on file because of the error. Messages don't depend on Cliniko, so a caller can still leave one and it lands in your dashboard.
Does Voicely work with systems other than Cliniko?
